Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in semiconductors and/or the satcom ecosystem (especially user terminals). You will take the lead in shaping the commercial future of our new SatCom product line.

This role is about building something new. You’ll be in the field with customers, traveling to key industry events, opening doors, and growing relationships with the players shaping tomorrow’s satellite connectivity. Working directly with our C-level team, you’ll help sharpen our value proposition, expand our market presence, and elevate our sales and partnerships to the next level.

Education

  • Proven track record in business development or sales for RF chips, semiconductors, or satcom/flat panel technologies.
  • Experience with go-to-market strategies for deep-tech products with long sales cycles.

Responsibilities and challenges

  • Build and manage a portfolio of customers for our SatCom ICs and modules.
  • Co-develop the value proposition and refine product-market fit with management.
  • Develop sales and support channels; deliver the right solutions to customers.
  • Prepare quotations and negotiate contracts.
  • Own business targets: create reliable forecasts and scenarios.
  • Lead continuous market research on customer use cases, competition, prices, volumes, and ecosystem trends.
  • Represent TUSK IC at industry fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Support (in parallel) the sales pipeline for our custom ASIC design services.

Competences and qualifications

  • Bonus: strong network within the satcom user terminal ecosystem (OEMs, integrators, operators).
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling business value.
  • Comfortable engaging stakeholders at every level, from engineers to executives.
  • Entrepreneurial drive to open new markets and partnerships.
  • Multilingual and open to regular international travel.
  • Strong assets include:
    • Knowledge of satcom ground segment architectures, RF front-ends, or modem technologies.
    • Familiarity with semiconductor supply chains and scaling to production.
    • Experience with strategic partnerships and co-development deals.
