This week, TUSK IC had the honor of attending the visit of Belgian Minister Vanessa Matz to the Flemish space industry for an open discussion on the growing strategic role of space in our society.
Space has become a pillar of European strategic autonomy, let alone that the opportunities for economic growth, presented by New Space, are enormous. It’s a domain that transcends national boundaries, and one where ESA has been instrumental — not just in shaping a coherent European vision, but in implementing it effectively through targeted funding schemes and collaborative development programs.
TUSK IC was represented by our CEO, Kathleen Philips: “It was a privilege to be part of this moment and to underline how semiconductors and deep-tech scale-ups can play a key role in strengthening Europe’s position in this sector. The synergies between space and semiconductor innovation are real — and they represent an opportunity we cannot afford to miss.”
